hello guys... now we will discuss about the treatment for Insomnia. Insomnia resolves when the underlying trigger is removed. most of the people seek medical attention when their insomnia become more chronic. the main focus of treatment for insomnia should be directed towards finding the cause. this is because, treating the symptoms of insomnia without addressing the main cause is rarely successful.
from my reading, treatment of insomnia entails both of non-medical and medical aspects. and studies have shown that combining medical and non-medical treatment typically is more successful in treating insomnia. so, what do you guys think?
Hello Susianti, okey i see your point. its a good suggestion in the way how to treat this disease from becoming more chronic. But, do you know guys that Insomnia can also be treated with having BEHAVIORAL THERAPY? and this cure is one of the non-medical treatment that can help those had Insomnia disorders. Anyone of you know how this treatment are working guys? Pak Lah? please contribute your opinion!
In my opinions, Treatment for chronic insomnia consists of:
Treating underlying medical or psychological problems (like sleep apnea or depression). Stopping behaviors that worsen insomnia (like drinking too much coffee or taking naps). Possibly using sleeping pills (although the long-term use of sleeping pills for chronic insomnia is controversial). Trying behavioral techniques to improve sleep -- such as relaxation therapy (to help your mind and muscles relax), sleep restriction therapy (restricting time spent in bed), and reconditioning (learning to associate the bed and bedtime with sleep).
ITS good opinions Pak Lah. hope Pak Lah can eloborate more. hmmmm how about you Su? urmmm as additions in my last opinion, actually behavioral therapy is often recommende as the treatment for people with INSOMNIA, and it's includes sleep hygiene, relaxation, biofeedback, stimulus control, sleep restriction, cognitive therapy and also cognitive behavioral therapy. do you know guys that this therapy changes may be recommended alone initially, or medication may be recommended along with behavioral changes. For our information guys, the optimal behavioral therapy depends upon our situation and our clinician's preference. In my view, this is one of a good treatment to treath INSOMNIA disorder.
i agree with you, nengcy that behavioral therapy can improve overall sleep without any side effects. perhaps most important, these improvements last over time. in addition, peoples who get insomnia can also change their lifestyle too. lifestyle changes are simple things they can do that may help them sleep better. this include changing their sleep area or schedule and being more active. furthermore, they must try to avoid taking naps during the day..
yes... after this i suggest we oftenly having therapy treatment for our convenient healthy. whereaa we as a student have to take time rushly for doing our studies projects. Pak Lah heve you ever take any theraphy treatment?
hmmm?? WHY Pak Lah? I think maybe you should have it, meanwhile your daughter seems a doctor and it is really an advantage for you to have this treatment easily. maybe it can help you from disorder any sleeps' distraction. :)
okey. its a good question susianti. but in my opinion by taking pills avoiding from suffering sleep disorder is not really good. it might cause you addicted by taking it in many times when u feel hard to get sleep. but guys it doesnt mean that are completely prohibit from taking pills . i think we still can have it with monitoring by a doctor and his advices. on the other hand this also may need cost to buy pills which help us to fall sleep. so, in my suggestion, treatment based on natural exercize more better to take as ways to solve INSOMNIA.
