Patients with insomnia are evaluated with the help of a medical history and a sleep history. The sleep history may be obtained from a sleep diary filled out by the patient or by an interview with the patient's bed partner concerning the quantity and quality of the patient's sleep. Specialized sleep studies may be recommended, but only if there is suspicion that the patient may have a primary sleep disorder such as sleep apnea or narcolepsy. Besides, there are still many ways to diagnose INSOMNIA. Anyone of you guys can give any ideas on how we can diagnosed towards this disease?
Nengcy, in my opinion, we can diagnosed the disease such as if you have insomnia, your doctor will ask questions about your medical history and sleep history. You may need to keep a sleep diary. Or the doctor may interview your bed partner concerning the quantity and quality of your sleep. Specialized sleep studies (a night spent in a laboratory) may be necessary - but only if there is suspicion of a medical problem like sleep apnea or narcolepsy.
tx for the good of opinion Pak Lah...but, have you ever been any kind of INSOMNIA Pak Lah? feel very hard to sleep? or maybe feels that your eyes always fresh all the time? and how about you Susianti?

hmm the problem that you asked is really good contribution to share in here. However susianti i can't say it yes or nope with your feels hard to sleep because i'm not really expert on this. But, well my suggestion its better going see a doctor and have a medical check up for ensuring your problem. Despites, you also can look over the symptoms of INSOMNIA neither there is anything happened are the same with your conditions. So, what time are you going to sleep for everynight?
i always feel sleepy early but i can't sleep. sometimes, i fall asleep at 4.00 a.m.. as a result, i always had a headache in the daytime. in addition, it also avoid me to pay attention and focus while in class.thus, i also faced a difficulty to remembering what the lectures have taught. this problem so disturbing me. now, i try to manage my sleep time so that i can sleep tight in the night.i will take a sleep as much as i need to feel rested.
